Today we are in Dubrovnik, what a magnificent location. It truly is the Jewel of the Adriatic Sea. First off we walked around the old town wall. Very hot work, but well worth the effort. Fortunately there are a number of watering holes interspaced along the wall.
The walk is about 2.5 km with lots of steps very strenuous in 33 degree heat, for a minute there I though we might have to stretcher Gav off. Beautiful place. The back streets of the town are amazing, narrow little alley ways. Some very steep with lots of shops and restaurants.
We then took the cable car to the top of the mountain overlooking the old town. Great photo opportunity and we relaxed in a cafe up the top with a beer before heading back down and on to the boat.
Have a look at the cruise gallery for more pictures and heres a quick video of us walking the walls.
